What this site is
InvestAmerica is a small, independent site with three things: investment calculators built on standard financial math, a clean view of market data, and curated headlines from established publishers. It is built for regular people planning savings, retirement, or a home purchase, not for day traders.
Our principles
- No fake precision. Market data is clearly labeled as delayed. Calculator defaults are conservative and every assumption is visible and editable.
- No account, no tracking of your finances. Calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to us.
- Sources, named. Market data comes from public sources including Yahoo Finance and European Central Bank reference rates. Historical figures cite the datasets they come from.
- Fast and accessible. No frameworks, no popups, readable at any screen size, usable with a keyboard and a screen reader.
How we make money
The site is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from content, and advertisers have no influence over what appears here. We do not sell or share the numbers you type into calculators, we do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not run sponsored content pretending to be advice. If that ever changes, this page will say so plainly.
What we are not
We are not financial advisors, brokers, or fiduciaries. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, or legal advice. The tools show arithmetic consequences of assumptions you choose. Decisions belong with you, ideally with help from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
